There is a general sentiment that tall people are healthier and thus longer living than short people. Perhaps this stems from the fact that both good health and increased height require the same things—a healthy lifestyle, good nutrition in particular. Additionally, larger animals in general tend to live longer than smaller animals, whales being the classic example. Recently however, there is mounting evidence that tall people don’t live as long as their shorter counterparts.
