Houses

Let’s face it, houses and the stuff we put in them just aren’t suited to us tall people. And given how much time we spend in our houses, and the great variety of tasks we do, there are a great many ergonomic hazards we have to deal with.

In this section of Tall.Life, we try to come up with solutions to these ergonomic hazards. In an ideal world, everyone could have a house customized to their height. But this is rarely feasible nor practical given people of a variety of heights typically occupy a house. The alternative are adaptations. For example, the raised cutting board is an alternative to raising all of the kitchen counter tops.

A few more of my favorites are the tall table, sink stool, and raised shower head.
